Support Procedures
Most reported problems with our CD-ROMs are solved easily
by following the routine below.
1)
First check that your computer matches the minimum specifications.
Then make sure that the CD-ROM is clean and free from scratches.
2)
Make sure you are running the programme from the 'Start' button
on the lower left hand side of your screen. See the inside
cover of the CD-ROM for full instructions.
3)
If you are sure you are running the programme correctly, remove
the current installation of the programme by going to the
'Start' button, 'Settings', and then 'Control Panel'. Double
click the 'Add/Remove Programs' icon. Find the name of the
CD-ROM on the list displayed, click on it once to highlight
the name, then click on the 'Add/Remove' button.
Once
you have done this restart/reboot your computer.
If you
cannot find the name of the CD-ROM in the list, then it was
not installed properly, continue with the instructions below.
4)
When your computer has restarted, re-install the CD-ROM by
carefully following the installation instructions on the inside
cover of the CD-ROM booklet. Make sure you follow the on-screen
instructions carefully. It is generally advised to accept
the default options.
5)
Our CD-ROMs will not run directly from the CD-ROM itself.
